Raise your voice against violence in Chicago at a media forum hosted by Community Media Workshop.
Journalists, community voices and students will gather at this FREE EVENT on Tuesday October 29, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Columbia College Chicago, 33 East Congress, Room 101 (Click here for map).
Join moderator Natalie Moore, WBEZ Reporter, in a conversation about covering violence with Brenda Butler of Columbia Links; Juliana Stratton of Cook County’s Justice Advisory Council; Chris Rudd of the Mikva Challenge; and Gaynor Hall Paterson, WGN/CLTV Reporter.
The anti-violence media forum is co-sponsored by Strengthening Chicago’s Youth at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and the Community Media Workshop, and sponsored by McCormick Foundation’s Why News Matters initiative.
